Nintendo and Capcom bring Super Street Fighter IV to 3DS in Europe

Nintendo has announced that it will be teaming up with Capcom to launch the hotly-anticipated Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition on 3DS in Europe.

The platform holder will act as the distributor for the handheld fighting game, which is set to deliver all of the gameplay seen in the home console versions, plus a range of new extras.

Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition will feature a packed roster of 35 playable fighters, with veterans such as Ryu, Chun-Li and M Bison lining up alongside newer characters including Crimson Viper and Abel.

It features a combination of old-school 2D gameplay and rich 3D visuals, which are given glasses-free stereoscopic depth by the console's display.

New features include an immersive over-the-shoulder camera setting and a simplified move option that assigns special abilities to Touch Screen-based panels.

It will also introduce Figurine Mode, which allows players to collect and battle trophies using the wireless StreetPass function.
