Bioshock Infinite Complete Edition is out next week

2K Games has confirmed that Bioshock Infinite: Complete Edition will be released on 4 November for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

As the title cunningly suggests, the budget priced Complete Edition contains the award-winning game, plus all the additional content originally available as DLC. That means both chapters of the Burial at Sea story expansion which takes Infinite's hero, Booker DeWitt, to the underwater city of Rapture, as seen in the first Bioshock.

Also included is the wave-based combat mode Clash in the Clouds, and a selection of bonus packs that were previously only available as pre-order exclusives and other limited promotions.

Bioshock development studio Irrational Games has since been closed down, as creator Ken Levine wanted to refocus on smaller titles and new ideas after the enormous blockbuster Bioshock project. Publisher 2K Games still owns the rights to the series, though, so we may see it return one day. Here's hoping.
