Set in an alternate timeline within the Command & Conquer universe, Red Alert explored the possibility of a history in which albert Einstein travelled back in time, assassinating Adolf Hitler. However, instead of preventing WWII, this instead paved the way for the Soviets to invade Europe.
Famed for some of the most outlandish units in the RTS genre, Red Alert, plus its expansions and eventual sequel, Red Alert 2, is the more sci-fi of the Command & Conquer franchise - all of which can be found in Command & Conquer: The First Decade.
Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 goes even further into exploring the possibilities of time travel and sci-fi technologies. When the Soviets go back int time to restore the glory of Mother Russia, the mission goes horribly awry and creates a timeline where three armies vie for global supremacy. Playing as the Empire of the Rising Sun, the Soviets or the Allies, Red Alert 3 players will command units wielding Tesla technology, teleportation, invisibility and more in the most polished title in the series so far!
