I would highly recommend this game! The graphics are very polished and the controls are spot on for consoles. This is no tacky PC port and gives the PC versions a run for their money!

Oh dear. I bought this game as I have experienced many hours of fun plotting and building on previous Civilization games, expecting something near the same. What I got was a completely dumbed down version. The graphics are fun, but not exactly good, the 'speech' is just repetetive babbling which I could really live without and the game, well, the game is nothing, it hardly exists. Civilization is usually a very in depth game, this is about as deep as a puddle after 10 minutes of light rain. Far too short, the game flies by, the maps are incredibly small, only 5 Civilizations in any one game (very easy if you want to complete a domination victory) and NO replay value at all. Don't accept the excuse that it's on a console, the snes and ps1 versions of Civ 2 were much more engaging and much more in depth. I bought it yesterday, played it once, it's going back. Not worth a fiver, let alone 20 quid. 4/10, and I'm not sure what it's done to deserve that many. An insult to the Civilization

This is a great game. Every fight is different with a huge variety of armies to go and a entirely new, randomly generated map each time with skirmish fights, campaigns and scenario wars this is a great game for stratergy loves everywhere! The only possible downside is the graphics which may seem a bit "childish" however it flows nicely with the game andf once you get used to how it looks its a fantastic game where you can win by peace, money, culture, war and science/technology. In adfdition to this there are add-om extras available ffrom the PSN Store, some of which are even free!

I found this game to be fantasic!! I played this on the P.C i found it as much, if not more fun on the PS3. With a group of friends together it can be a good laugh. Characters are funny and graphics are good too. 4 1/2 / 5
