About Instant Redemption
1. What is Instant Redemption?
Online Instant Redemption is just the latest in a series of benefits exclusive
to GAME Reward Card members. When you have earned enough points on your Reward
Card, you can redeem these as cash against purchases made on the website without
having to go into one of our Stores.
2. How do I qualify to use Instant Redemption?
- You need a UK Reward Card registered to a UK postcode.
- You need a membership Account (it's free) on the GAME site.
- You need to add your Reward Card to your membership account.
3. How do I get a Reward Card?
Just request one for £3. You won't receive your card for
a few weeks but you'll be supplied with your Reward Card number straightaway,
meaning you can start earning points immediately.
4. How do I get an account?
It's easy to Register, and once you've
done so, use the Reward number to add
your Reward Card to your account.
5. What are the other benefits of creating a GAME account?
You'll be able to check your reward points at any time, store personal details
to make the checkout process easier and change contact details at the touch
of a button.
6. By registering for a GAME account, will you be passing my details onto other
companies?
No, we will never pass your personal details on to any third parties. Be sure
to read our Privacy Statement.
7. How do I earn points?
You will earn points on any purchases you make online using your membership
account when you enter your Reward Card number in the Checkout, or any purchases
in store where you present your Reward Card. Please note that points cannot
be added once an order has been completed.
8. How many points?
You'll receive 10 points per pound that you spend, where 1000 points will
give you £2.50 to redeem. This equates to 2.5% back on your purchases -
making it one of the most generous Reward programmes around. If you preorder
software you will earn 20 points per pound, or 5% back!
9. What other benefits are there to the Reward Card?
We run exclusive offers for Reward Card members, as well as bonus point
promotions that allow you to really stack up those points!
10. So how do I redeem my points online?
As long as you have earned at least £2.50 worth of Reward Points you can
redeem them (in £2.50 chunks) against the purchases you make online, by
selecting from the dropdown under Payment Details in the Checkout - see below.
11. How do I know how much I can save?
Every product page on the site will tell you how much you can save if you
redeem all of your available points - as in the below example.
12. Can I save enough Reward Points to buy an item free of charge?
Sure, if you've got the points! You can even use the points on postage.
13. Can I use an e-voucher in conjunction with Instant Redemption?
Yep.
14. Are there any products on which you don't award points?
Only Gift Vouchers and Mobile phone games. Please note that we don't award
points on postage costs either.
15. Do I still get Reward Points when I purchase an item in full using points?
Of course, we're not that tight!
16. How can I boost the speed at which I earn points?
Preorder the games you're looking forward to - all software Preorders earn Double
Reward Points which equates to 5% back! Plus keep an eye out for Bonus Point
Promotions, where we give you loads of extra points if you buy particular products!
17. I am an International Customer, can I redeem my points online?
No - customers with Scandinavian or French Reward Cards can not redeem their
points online at present, and it is not possible to link an account to a Reward
Card which is not registered to a UK postcode.
18. What about the Republic of Ireland?
We regret that at the present time customers with a Reward Card registered to
an ROI address cannot redeem points online - however, we are working on it.
19. Who can I contact if I have a problem with my Reward Card, with Instant
Redemption or my account?
