Controller versions can be identified by checking inside your controller to see if the light bar plastic lens cover is secured in with screws, if it is screwed in you have a Version 1 controller and will need this 14 pin cable, if your light bar lens cover is not secured with screws you need a 12 pin model.
Fits into place like the original, the controller must be opened to install.
