Xbox 360 Arcade Console
I just recently bought my first ever Xbox 360 after many of my friends started getting them. My Xbox 360 was an Arcade, which seemed to fit in the tight budget I had. It didn't have a Hard Drive, but soon after getting my 360, Microsoft offered me a HDD and 3 months of Live for £20. I also didn't have a HDMI cable or component cables, but my TV was old - and it couldn't put up with those connections. And the headset? Just bought one for £15. After a while using my shiny new console, I was able to sum up my new, shining 360 in one word - amazing. I mean, with so many quality games and the best controller that anyone could ever come up with, this earned top marks from me. Xbox Live was a joy to use, the new NXE was truly groundbreaking and the games that I had played for it had so much quality, equipped with perfect controls. Despite the fact that you can get a lot more with the normal and Elite versions of the console, these additions can all be bought seperately. A must buy

Xbox 360 Arcade Console
Bought this after i made a huge mistake in trading my old 360 in for a PS3. Still have both consoles but me being a hardcore online gamer the 360 obviously shines through. Although the arcade package is very basic, i share the HDMI lead i use with my PS3, and bought a 60gb hard drive kit with a headset and 3 month xbox live for around £50, and then a plug and play on top of that for around £190 in total, as well as Fable 2 included in the bundle, so overall it was a much better deal than the PS3. There may be no Blu-ray, but the option to rent HD movies from xbox live is good enough (although i still use my PS3 for Blu-ray, much better). On a side note for wireless online gaming, the adapter may be steep at around £40+, but even at that price the 360 still comes in at better value. P.s. Wireless internet just causes lag anyway :) Wired = more reliable gaming and much less lag. Hope my views help.

Xbox 360 Arcade Console
If your looking to buy your first xbox 360 i recommend that you buy a 60gb console or you wont beable to save any of your games the arcade is a console for somebody thats all ready got a hard drive or just uses it to play games and thats it but most people will want to save there games and make an xbox live account wich is unable without a hard drive you can buy a hard drive but it would be cheaper to buy the console with the hard drive again i recommend a 60gb or 20gb console because it starts you off with a bit of memory but if you your going to use more you can always purchase a 120gb hard drive all buy a console that comes with one.
