Watch Dogs on PS4 Runs at 1080p, 60 Frames Per Second

Sony officially announced that the PS4 version of Watch Dogs will keep the popular trend going of 60fps and 1080p, much to the delight of fans worldwide

Watch_Dogs frame rate news from GAME.

One of the biggest talking points among gamers, at least when it comes to PS4 and Xbox One, is resolution. Players immediately react whenever a developer reveals different numbers for either system. The fact that a majority of PS4 games run at 60 frames per second and at 1080p is but one reason the machine rocketed up the charts.

With this in mind, Sony officially announced that the PS4 version of Watch Dogs will keep the popular trend going of 60fps and 1080p, much to the delight of fans worldwide. The company went on to say, "Hack everything as you make your way through Chicago’s underground as you experience Watch Dogs in a way that only PS4 can provide."

Of course, Watch Dogs will also debut on other platforms, not just Xbox One, but also Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and then Wii U later this year. That said, it remains to be seen whether these systems will achieve similar numbers. We do know, however, that Ubisoft continues working with NVIDIA on the PC version, which may provide the ultimate Watch Dogs experience.

Finally, we learned that the game’s four exclusive PS4 missions will eventually appear on PC.
