Transformers Dark of the Moon

Megatron has been defeated and the Decepticons have been crippled – Earth is finally safe.

That is the view of the human’s – however Optimus Prime knows defeating Megatron would never be that easy, and keeps a watchful eye over planet earth – safeguarding the human race keeping a watchful eye for the meticulous shadow of Megatron’s return.

It’s up to the Autobots to locate and hunt down Megatron and decommission the ultimate Decepticon assassin – Shockwave.

Transformers Dark of the Moon features:

  • Even more than meets the eye – Dark of the Moon allows you to instantly transform into a new hybrid form – this form transforms you into a mixture of robot mode and vehicle mode.
  • Two sides to every story – Transform on both sides with the ability to cause chaos as either a Autobot or Decepticon!
  • Mega-plot-atron!: Experience and unravel a plot full of twists and turns as Megatron tries to unleash Shockwave – the ultimate Decepticon assassin.
  • Activision is teaming up with toymaker Hasbro to release a videogame version of Battleship, the upcoming blockbuster film adaptation of the classic naval strategy game.

Inspired by Universal Pictures' new action-adventure film starring Taylor Kitsch, Rihanna and Liam Neeson, the game combines the traditional strategic command elements of the board game with intense first-person combat.

It follows the exploits of an elite demolitions specialist who must simultaneously orchestrate land and sea-based strategies against a ferocious extraterrestrial menace that has been hiding beneath the ocean waves near the coast of Hawaii.

Battleship will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in April 2012, with unique versions for Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS also on the way.

David Oxford of Activision said: "The game is next-gen naval warfare that thrusts players into the middle of humanity's last stand against an unfamiliar menace."

Activision has previously enjoyed success with its movie tie-in games for Hasbro's Transformers franchise, including last year's popular Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Fantastic, but could have things added
The campaign is a great idea, but experienced Transformers Video-game players would finish it in no time, 7 chapters is abit too short. The graphics are great, very realistic, the guns are very accurate, even if you don't recognise them, so are the characters, but maybe if they put abit more work on Optimus Prime, then he would've looked great!(mainly because he is pretty skinny on chapter 7) The unlockables, Rachet and Shockwave, are very powerful characters, and thats probably the best part if you don't know what to do, and you realise you have a code to unlock Rachet, very exciting. (I bought this from gamestop, so if you buy it from GAME, you might not find the Rachet code) I think more chapters in the campaign would brighten up the chances of getting REALLY good at completing a campaign, and I think if there was to be more chapters, the characters I would like to be starring in it, and of course, to play with, it would be Megatron AND Shockwave against Optimus Prime, Rachet, Ironhide, and Bumblebee would be at LEAST chapter 9, and I would like Breakaway involved in chapter 8 (if possible) and if this was to happen, I would in fact like chapter 7 to be defeating JUST the Driller, instead of defeating the Driller, then Optimus Prime being so close to killing Shockwave, then the Driller escaping WITH Shockwave. I would highly and strongly reccomend this game to a friend, or someone-else, even though I do want the campaign to change a little, so I would mark this 5/5 stars
