Medieval II: Total War lets you direct massive battles featuring up to 10,000 bloodthirsty troops on epic 3D battlefields, while presiding over some of the greatest Medieval nations of the Western and Middle Eastern world. Spanning the most turbulent era in Western history, your quest for territory and power takes you through Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and even onto the shores of the New World.
In every way, Empire: Total War is a revolution. The ultimate mix of turn based strategy and real time battles; this will be the biggest Total War game yet. The largest campaign map, the most incredible visuals and detail achieved in a strategy title, Total War will be improved and expanded like never before. It also debuts the biggest single requested feature addition to this acclaimed franchise – full Naval combat.
Napoleon: Total War defines a new standard in the series, with exciting characters and a cinematic narrative, mind-blowing battle sequences and an unrivalled mix of turn-based and real-time strategy. Take command and lead your armies on land and sea over three campaigns: Italy, Egypt and Mastery of Europe. The seamless mix of objective-based missions and sandbox experience makes this the most complete Total War experience to date.
In the darkest age of Japan, endless war leaves a country divided. Ten legendary warlords strive for supremacy as conspiracies and conflicts wither the empire. Only one will rise above all to win the heart of a nation as the new shogun - the others will die by his sword. 9 playable clans, new Japanese siege warfare tactics and terrain and more make Total War: Shogun 2 stand out from the pack.
Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai explores the conflict between the Imperial throne and the last Shogunate in 19th century Japan, 400 years after the events of the original game. A dramatic clash of traditional Samurai culture with the explosive power of modern weaponry. Guide ancient Japan into the modern age, as the arrival of America, Britain and France incites a ferocious civil war which will decide the future of a nation.
Total War Battles: Shogun delivers quick-fire, tactical combat balanced with strategic building and unit management, all set in a beautifully illustrated Medieval Japan. Build your economy and your war machine as you lead you clan through more than 10 hours of the campaign, using a new real-time battle system that feels both familiar and fresh. The hex-based battle map allows for quick and simple unit movements that lead to deep and cunning strategies. However, as followers of the “Bushido” code of conduct, your units can never turn back – this twist to classic RTS gameplay adds tension and intensity to the action, making each victory even more rewarding.
In Viking – Battle for Asgard, a fierce struggle is taking place within the realm of the Norse Gods. The battle has escalated, spilling over to the mortal world of Midgard and now a Champion must be found, a Warrior than can sway this war that threatens the fate of Asgard and the Gods themselves.

Creative Assembly, the British studio behind the Total War series, has announced it has entered into an ongoing deal with tabletop role-playing specialist Games Workshop to bring its hugely successful Warhammer series to consoles and PC. SEGA will publish the games, with the first one due in 2014.
"With this year being our 25th anniversary. It seems fitting for us to embark on such a dream project with such a well-established partner," says studio director Tim Heaton. "The incredibly rich and detailed Warhammer world is something we grew up with, and has left an indelible imprint on us as both designers and gamers We'll be doing the Warhammer universe justice in a way that has never been attempted before. We're bringing those 25 years of experience and expertise in extremely high-scoring games to bear, delivering a Warhammer experience that videogamers will absolutely love."
It certainly seems like a match made in orc heaven, with Creative Assembly being one of the best strategy game developers around, and Warhammer being one of the most beloved strategy RPGs ever made.
Creative Assembly's Total War series has allowed players to command armies in Ancient Rome and Japan, Medieval Europe and the Napoleonic War. The most recent entry was this year's Total War: Shogun 2 expansion, Fall of the Samurai.
Warhammer is currently best known in video gaming for the Warhammer 40k science fiction spin-off. That franchise remains with THQ, which released the rather excellent Space Marine last year.
