The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a first-person action survival game that brings to life the authentic, heart-stopping horrors of the AMC Emmy award-winning TV series The Walking Dead. In the game, players assume the role of the mysterious, crossbow-wielding survivor Daryl Dixon alongside his overbearing brother Merle. Join them on a haunting, unforgiving quest across the Georgia countryside to reach the supposed safety of Atlanta.

    The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, Activision's upcoming zombie game based on the hit TV show, has been given a release date: 29th March. That's for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC.

    Despite the blockbuster publisher and the game's first-person perspective, don't think this will be an all-action shooter. "Drop a Call of Duty player in our game and they're not going to last long," Glenn Gamble, an artist at developer Terminal Reality, told Eurogamer. "We wanted a game that felt more real, but at the same time being a little more faster-paced and not getting bogged down with the micro-management of some of the more complex games out there."

    That's a reference to Ubisoft's Wii U exclusive ZombiU, and it seems that the Walking Dead game will require more stealth than shooting. "Shooting is ringing the dinner bell," Gamble explains. "First-person survival is about the best way to describe it. That's what we wanted from the beginning. Everything they do in the show we want to translate into the game. If you look at the show, they're trying their best not to use guns. In fact, in Season 3 they've got hand-built silencers on everything. That's how we tried to translate it. You want to be quiet."

    Stars of the TV show, Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus, will reprise their roles as Daryl and Merle for the game. Terminal Reality is based known for the official Ghostbusters game which reunited Bill Murray with his spook-hunting pals for the first time since 1989.

Not good, let down
The games not worth the money, Game do sell other amazing games so go buy them. I was so disappointed with this game as it is truly terrible. Rubbish game.

Watch the TV show Before you play!
Hello fellow walking dead fans. Enjoying the game? I am. To people who think this game is rubbish I advise you watch the tv show before you play as the game relates to Daryl And Merle Before Atlanta And Rick handcuffing Merle On top of a Roof. The story line is about how Daryl and Merle all got caught up in the Zombie apocalypse and fighting their way to safety whilst trying to survive helping people out (not merle of obvious reasons) and getting ammo and supplies. Right the bad points. 1.Needs to Have Co-Op and Multiplayer 2.Needs some sort of zombo-gauge bar so when sneaking around it can tell you how loud you are so the walkers cant hear you. 3. Graphics need tweeking, and needs more scenes of zombies chowing on a corpse and eating intestines like spaghetti like it has in the tv show. Good Points! 1. If you enjoy the tv show you'd enjoy playing this game especially as Daryl is everyones favourite character and people wanna play as him. 2. The Attention to detail is very good looks like places in the you'd recognise on the show. 3. The faces some of the walkers pull when you stab them in the face is hilarious. Thats About it. All I can Say is that needs to be Co-Op And Have Multiplayer. And im gonna keep saying that till it happends. Hopefully when the do another one where Rick And Shane Are involved. That would be interesting. Last Bit of advice... WATCH THE TV SHOW BEFORE YOU GET THE GAME. Im fed up of people who haven't watched the show, and just buying the game cause its another zombie game. No.Its different you'll actually have to do some work on here and survive.

the graphics arn't great but this is a game where you can just have fun and sometimes skip a heart beat

Survival Instinct let down
the game had a good idea behind it and is good a base but then you find it goes over the same landscapes and side missions which just gets monotonous and annoying . completed it in only 6 hours .Does not come close to the The Walking Dead TV show .Overall big let down but the game and AMC would not recommend buying it .
