The Sims are on the adventure of their lifetime in The Sims™ 3 World Adventures, the first expansion pack for The Sims 3.

Guide your Sims to fortune or doom as you take them to famous real-world inspired destinations to conquer challenges such as finding treasure and discover what’s lurking in hidden caves . . .

From mastering martial arts in Shang Simla, China, to discovering rich culture and famous landmarks on a romantic getaway to Champs Les Sims, France, or exploring the depths of ancient tombs in Al Simhara, Egypt, your Sims will learn new skills and chase down new personal opportunities.

They’ll be able to meet new Sims with unique personalities, share their culture and bring them home. They can even discover new styles on their travels and share everything they encounter through photographs, movies, and stories.

  • The Sims 3: Master Suite Stuff add-on pack coming in January 2012 Bookmark and Share

    A new add-on pack is being launched for The Sims 3 that will give players greater choice when it comes to creating their dream property.

    The Sims 3: Master Suite Stuff will add a host of new items for players to customise their homes and characters, with new bathroom and master bedroom furnishing plus an array of romantic intimate wear for Sims.

    Players will have the chance to pick up a new four-post canopied bed, a contemporary vanity and set and a new lavish hot tub.

    Set to hit the shelves in January 2012, the add-on will add further depth to the already bulging title.

    The Sims franchise celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2010, with more than 15 million units of the game's many titles sold over the decade.

    One of the most popular games of the last two years, The Sims 3 alone has sold more than five million copies since its launch in 2009.

  • New Hidden Springs content released for The Sims 3 Bookmark and Share

    Fans of The Sims 3 can expand their experience from this week with the launch of the new Hidden Springs downloadable content pack.

    The newest add-on for EA's phenomenally popular lifestyle simulation adds a luxurious new resort town area to the PC game, offering a place for Sims to relax while surrounded by scenic mountains and an expansive lake.

    Sim characters can unwind at the Fairyfolk Park, investigate ancient mysteries at the Museum of Magic and the Supernatural or track down exclusive new items such as the Fountain of Youth.

    Gamers can also improve their Sims' social standing by visiting locales like the Crystal Solarium Pool and the Redwood Heights Luxury Lodge, where they can get to know the elite Vanderburg family.

    Since debuting in 2009, The Sims 3 has proven to be one of the most popular PC titles of recent years, selling more than five million copies.

    A major new expansion, the animal-centric The Sims 3: Pets, will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year.

World Adventures - The Sims 3
I love the base game and find that this pack is a great edition, it allows you to travel to France, Egypt and China and it really allows you to expand and explore into new places instead of being confined to your own little town. I have other packs and find that this goes perfectly with them too.

im a huge sims on PC fan so any and all games that are on said platform i buy regardless of how useless they are. this one is fun and worthwhile for the added play, traits and destinations and skills so its a fairly USEFUL addon. if you are a fan of the sims, then get it (provided you have the base game or else it wont work) and enjoy

The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack
This is one of the best if not the best Sims expansion pack ever. I really feel that you can get a feel for each place - France, Egypt and China. Some people feel it was a bad choice for the Sims to use real places however I think it creates a more lifelike feel to the game. I just got this today and have already spent a lot of time on it. The graphics are amazing and I am very pleased with the purchase. If you are looking for something new from your Sims game then I would highly recommend this game. The loading times that appear once throughout the game to get to the destination are very fast and don’t take much time and is definite buy for any one that has been hooked to the Sims over the last ten years.

The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack
This game is absolutely awesome! Before the expansion pack, the game was still great but it was quite boring. There was no story to it. But now with the expansion pack, it has given the game a whole new story and has made it much more fun. I would still recommend The Sims 3 if you haven’t already got it because it is still fun and a pass-time, but if you are willing to get the expansion pack as well, I would totally recommend it. The Sims 3 is a great game and they have done really well with it. 5* and it’s worth the money!

The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack
Got this game for Christmas. Was wary of it after the reviews but it's amazing. Its fun and adds hours of non-repetitive gameplay. Mine worked perfectly, installed in 15 mins and was ready to play when i was. Only thing is the loading screen between home and traveling is fairly long screen which to be honest is a minor in-game flaw and shouldn't affect anyones game play. It's a must for any REAL sims fan.
