The Sims 3 Product Details

Released on 12/11/2010

Create Sims with unique personalities, fulfill their desires, and control their lives within a living neighborhood that you can customize, including designing the ultimate beach getaway. Unlock all-new Karma Powers and unleash them on your Sims: help your Sim get lucky with the power of “love connector”, bless them with the power of “age defier” or curse them with an “alien abduction.” Use these powers wisely, because they may have unexpected results! As you guide your Sims through life, you can complete challenges to unlock additional items, new buildings and landmarks. For the first time ever, share the fun with a friend in the co-op buddy mode or take on up to three friends in the Life Moments Game.

Exclusive to the Wii version, players will be able to enjoy an all-new beach town with unique residents, traits, careers and lifetime wishes. For the first time ever, players can enjoy The Sims 3 with friends by going head to head in the new “Life Moments” game to earn rewards. Finally, players will also enjoy several adventure quests, as the game will challenge them to explore their town and discover the secrets therein.

Features

  • Create any Sim you can imagine and give them unique personalities! Fine-tune your Sims’ appearances and personalities. Make them evil, romantic, paranoid, kleptomaniacs, or a mix of something completely different.
  • Control your Sims’ destinies. Choose whether or not to fulfill your Sims’ destinies by making their wishes come true—or letting their dreams die. Will your Sims be rock stars, world leaders, or expert thieves? It’s up to you.
  • Unlock all-new Karma Powers. Wield the ultimate power over your Sims, controlling weather, the Grim Reaper and more!
  • Play The Sims with friends! Get a friend in on the action in the all-new co-op mode. A second player can join the fun as a gnome who can help—or hinder—your Sims. You can also play the new Life Moments Game with up to four players. Bet on life’s most important moments to earn points and garner rewards.
  • New Content! Enjoy an all new beach town with new residents, traits, careers, weather, and lifetime wishes exclusive for the Wii.
  • A new add-on pack is being launched for The Sims 3 that will give players greater choice when it comes to creating their dream property.

The Sims 3: Master Suite Stuff will add a host of new items for players to customise their homes and characters, with new bathroom and master bedroom furnishing plus an array of romantic intimate wear for Sims.

Players will have the chance to pick up a new four-post canopied bed, a contemporary vanity and set and a new lavish hot tub.

Set to hit the shelves in January 2012, the add-on will add further depth to the already bulging title.

The Sims franchise celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2010, with more than 15 million units of the game's many titles sold over the decade.

One of the most popular games of the last two years, The Sims 3 alone has sold more than five million copies since its launch in 2009.

Sim characters can unwind at the Fairyfolk Park, investigate ancient mysteries at the Museum of Magic and the Supernatural or track down exclusive new items such as the Fountain of Youth.

Gamers can also improve their Sims' social standing by visiting locales like the Crystal Solarium Pool and the Redwood Heights Luxury Lodge, where they can get to know the elite Vanderburg family.

The Sims 3
I got this game for Christmas and I really enjoy playing it, it has no cheats so it's a bit harder than the PC. But overall it's a great game, but I would say the PC is easier. I still recommend it! :')

I didn't like it one bit. The graphics are ok but i didn't like the fact that you control the sim with the nunchuck and the view quality of house ; I found it difficult to controll. DON'T BUY IT. The worst game E.A. have ever designed i'd say !
