Fallout: New Vegas developer working on South Park RPG
File this one under ever saw it coming Obsidian, the developer responsible for Fallout: New Vegas, is working on a South Park RPG. South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be supplying the script, as well as overseeing the project.
As revealed in the latest issue of US magazine Game Informer, you'll play as a new kid in the town of South Park and will have to defend your friends from a terrible enemy. The magazine's front cover depicts the South Park gang reflected in a frozen lake, where they take on a swords-and-sorcery appearance.
Obsidian was set up by former employees of Black Isle, the original Fallout developer. The studio's other games include top-down hack and slasher Dungeon Siege III and espionage-themed role-player Alpha Protocol.
South Park: The Game will be released next year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
