Exellent Mic
This is the all new playstation mic and it has improved on a lot of things: 1: the design it is a lot smaller 2: sony have improved the mic sound quality 3:it feels comfy on my ear 3:it is easier for my friends to hear me when i am speaking to them instead of me repeating my self over and over again. My overall score for this mic is 10/10 I would recommend this to every body.

havent had these problems myself and press the power button once to see the battery level where the blue/pink ring light is placed. 1 flash= 1 bar/low, 2 flashes=2 bars and its medium, and 3 flashes= full of battery.

i bought one last year after i lost the ear plug to my older official sony headset. To be honest, the older headset is more reliable than this newer version even though this is sleek and modern. I usually have problems syncing it to my PS3. it doesnt switch off after i put it in the charging dock and sometimes i have to switch it off and on several times in order to get it working properly and to get the mics indicators to appear on the tv

Does it have all the functions of the official headset? i.e. mute, battery power level indicator etc.

this play station headset has an all new look its slimmer and its sleek look makes it all in all a good headset but that's just the design the mike improves quality of sound when talking to friends and i noticed that i did not have to repeat my self to them as they heard every word i said i have all the wireless head sets and this one is at the top of them just because it feels comfy and and its quality
all in all i give it 10/10
