Limited Edition With Exclusive In-Game Content
Sleeping Dogs brings the style and excitement of Hong Kong action cinema to western gaming like never before. Hong Kong itself Kong has been painstakingly recreated to create a massive open-world environment. From the gleaming high-rises of the city to the bustle of Kowloon and the mountains of Victoria Peak and Tai Mo Shan, this is a city that is very much alive, and a sandbox waiting for you to explore.
As Wei Chen, you are an experienced undercover cop. But this latest mission in the heart of the criminal underworld will push you further than any before. As the story plays out, you will have to make some increasingly tough decisions and actions to move through the ranks of the Triad. Whether it's chasing down protection money from local businesses or encountering other cops, how far will you go to protect your identity?
As you proceed, you can earn both money and 'face' – standing within the organisation. The more you earn, the more you can do – shop in swankier stores, access to VIP areas and more – all of which helps you get to your ultimate aim, but which will no doubt prove to make it harder to not be seduced by this lifestyle.
Sleeping Dogs promises some of the best combat found in any open-world game. Aided and inspired by MMA legend Georges St-Pierre, this combat system combines eastern martial arts with brutal street fighting, and the ability to use your environment to your advantage as you fight. Throw enemies through tables and glass panels, drown them in toilets, hack them up with saws or simply use your kung-fu skills to lay them out. These fights come thick and fast – you have to be ready!
On top of this there are some fantastic mini-games that can make a real difference to your story. From SingStar-like Karaoke to street races that are comparable to the top racing games out there, these mini-games are not just fun distractions, but can earn you money, 'face' or simply access to the where you need to go.Show more Show less
