Intense terror that assaults your eyes and ears.
An Otherworld befouled by blood, rust, and ichor. An ordinary day, now anything but. Darkness, twisted monsters, the hidden truth: all eat away at your soul as you quake in fear. The two most popular titles in the Silent Hill series, reborn now as one.
Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams
After receiving a letter from his deceased wife, James comes to Silent Hill, their “special place”, intent on seeing her again.
There, beside the town’s famous lake, James meets Maria, the spitting image of his late wife...
This definitive version of Silent Hill 2 includes Maria’s side-scenario “Born From a Wish”.
Silent Hill 3
It comes when you least expect it, unannounced and with no rhyme or reason. The world shifts into a landscape corroded by nightmares, and Heather finds herself caught in the midst of its transformations. The cheerful murmur of the shopping mall is soon replaced by insidious silence. The only sound is the footsteps of some twisted creature.
All Heather can do is escape—that is, if she wants to live.
As the monsters gather to attack, Heather grabs a gun...
What is Silent Hill?
Darkness. Silence. Twisted creatures. A tale of love and despair...
Silent Hill debuted in 1999 on the Sony PlayStation, with it's unique brand of creeping terror and atmospheric game world Silent Hill received rave reviews and boasts untold numbers of devoted fans both in Japan and abroad.
In 2006, Silent Hill made the leap to the silver screen, with a Hollywood sequel planned for 2012.
The small, sleepy Northeastern town of Silent Hill is the stage for the series' decidedly unsettling goings-on. What had once been a lovely sightseeing destination is now a fog-obscured ghost town that no one dares visit. The games’ protagonists must unravel the many secrets of Silent Hill before they have any hope of accomplishing their goals.

Konami has announced that the forthcoming Silent Hill: Downpour will receive a soundtrack album release in March 2012.
Milan Records is set to bring out a collection of music from composer Daniel Licht's atmospheric score to the new Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 survival horror title, which is due out the same month.
Licht is best known for his acclaimed work on the popular TV series Dexter and has created a haunting, eerie musical accompaniment to prisoner Murphy Pendleton's unsettling journey through the eponymous cursed town.
The composer said: "I came up with a sound world that I feel amplifies and augments the player's experience. I incorporated numerous instruments including piano, mandolin and industrial sounds."
Silent Hill: Downpour also features a theme tune by Jonathan Davis, frontman of nu-metal band Korn, which is included on the album release.
March 2012 is set to be a huge month for Silent Hill fans, with the Silent Hill HD Collection and Silent Hill: Book of Memories for PlayStation Vita also due for release.

The high def remake of Hideo Kojima's cult PS2 mech shooter series, Zone of the Enders, will get a UK release this Autumn, Konami has confirmed. The compilation follows the lead of the already announced Silent Hill HD Collection, also from Konami, in offering remastered HD remakes of beloved classics.
Zone of the Enders HD will include the original 2001 game, as well as its 2003 sequel, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. Both games follow the pilots of a flying robot suit called Orbital Frame Jehuty, as they blow stuff up across the galaxy. The second game is something of a collector's item today, and the series also inspired an animated TV show in Japan.
"We are looking forward to bringing the legendary Zone of the Enders series to old and new fans in a high definition form," said Konami general manager Martin Schneider. "We are excited to offer these games on new platforms which will allow gamers to experience the drama and action of the Zone of the Enders like they have never seen it before."
Zone of the Enders HD will be out in the Autumn for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Kojima is also working on a PlayStation Vita version, but no release date has been announced for that.
Fans of Kojima's unique approach to game design should also look out for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, a collaboration between Kojima and Platinum Games, the developer of Bayonetta, due later this year.
