Rise of Nightmares (Kinect Compatible) Product Details

Released on 09-Sep-2011

Welcome to Rise of Nightmares, a truly mature experience for Kinect for Xbox 360. Survive one hellish night as you hand-to-hand against undead enemies and mad scientists using the hands-free motion controls of Kinect. As you descend into the nightmarish world of a madman, you can rip your foes limb from limb while uncovering the location of your kidnapped wife.

Rise of Nightmares heightens the horror experience like never before, forcing you to use your whole body against your enemies. Using cutting-edge technology, you will be trapped in a night-world of zombies, monsters and hellish scientists - and the only way out is to fight.

Rise of Nightmares on Kinect for Xbox 360 Features:

  • Horrifying and Compelling: Gory visuals allow you to enjoy the carnage you inflict upon your enemies.
  • Unique Motion Controls: Use fists, feet and weapons thanks to the power of Kinect for Xbox 360 and its unique control schemes.
  • Delve Deep Into the Nightmare: Explore the environment to uncover clues that point at your kidnapped wife's fate.
  • A Complete Game Experience: A full game with a compelling campaign, not just a collection of mini-games.
  • Core on Kinect: An unashamedly mature title amongst a sea of family friendly offerings.
  • When Kinect was launched with titles such as Kinect Adventures and Kinect Joyride, some thought Microsoft's new motion control technology had abandoned the hardcore gamer, but all along the developers were thinking about you.

There are two types of Kinect games. Some can only use Kinect to work, they are controlled purely by it's motion control and voice recognition interface, and can't use a controller. There are other Xbox 360 games that can use Kinect to enhance the game-play with the additional features that Kinect offers.

Below we have a selection of games that are compatible with Kinect and are excellent examples of how Kinect can improve the world for the Core gamer.

This game had me hooked. I loved the story in the game and found it gripping me in deeper and deeper. I couldn't get enough. I'm starting it all over again in torture mode and its solid. this will entertain you for hours if not days.

A must for kinect players
If you like the kinect and horror games then this is a must! Only downfall is the single player is a bit short, but dont be put off as there are (like most games now) extras that will keep you going! playing this game shows you the start of kinect for us hardcore gamers and newcomers alike!

A fun kinect game
Well I got this game just so I had a kinect game that was aimed at my age and it turned out to be a brilliant experience. The game starts with you locked in a dungeon and just hooks you straight away. But the best thing about this game however is that it doesn't hold you hand an assume your an idiot, for example it tell you to open a door and doesn't show a video of how to open a door unlike other kinect games like kinect spirts. So all together an enjoyable kinect game highly recommend
