If you're still on the fence regarding the Wii U, then Bayonetta 2 might just tempt you down. Critics are raving about the stylish melee combat sequel, which is exclusive to Nintendo's console.
The perfect action game is Joystiq's bold conclusion, which comes with a glowing five star recommendation. It oozes style and boasts gameplay that's both refined and lacking in excess, reads the review. The combat is so purely entertaining that it's easy to lose yourself in the almost-zen flow of dodging, countering and kicking enemies to death.
Hard-to-please mag Edge also offers full marks, declaring the game to be the Wii U's first true classic and delivering a 10/10 score. IGN calls it one of the most satisfying action games I've played and gives it a 9.5. Videogamer.com gives it a 9/10, calling it a game that will legitimately make non-Wii U owners jealous.
