This may be the entry point into our VR gaming range, but it is no minimum specification. This is not some dodgy VR demo in a phone shop on a wet Sunday afternoon, with the rep having to reboot it twice before you have a go and then get immediate motion sickness. This is game play, and we take game play seriously. Keep the frame rate up, and the VR goggle sickness low and be prepared to lose your grip on reality.
Driving two slightly different (stereoscopic) images to two HD 90Hz screens at a frame rate nearing the maximum of 90 frames per second requires some serious computing power. Get this wrong and the experience could leave you with motion sickness so our VR range starts a level above the minimum specification for this very reason.
- Step-up to the higher clock speed of the Intel Core i5 – 7400, driving performance in FPS and game logic processing
- Move up the nVidia GTX lineup with the GTX 1060 3GB graphics cards and get improved performance across processing and the on-board memory power to keep the frame rate high
- 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz memory
- Generous storage with a 1TB hard drive
