With the Pro Evolution Soccer series renowned for its fluid, realistic gameplay, the new game builds on the implementation of Teamvision with additional key advances. As with previous releases since its inception in 1996, the ball is again treated as a separate entity, with the timing of shots entirely down to the player, while the new AI ensures that defenders work to close down space and block efforts on goal. Similarly, distribution of passes works along the same lines, with players using the space available to them to switch the ball. Close control has also been enhanced with more control when dribbling the ball, and a number of subtle moves added to bypass defenders and move the ball into space.

This game is absolutely amazing! Ever since i bought it, i've been hooked on it! The very good thing about PES 08 is that you can transfer a player from one team to another and so you can update your game to any signing made in real life. You can also change the emblems, kits and the quality of the player even. So when a player becomes amazing you can update his ability. The only negative is the commentry as there is nonne and the commentator only speaks when a goal is scored. Nevertheless it is 100% worth the price. It is an absolute bargain and i'd give it 10/10 in everything apart from the commentry. Overall 9/10.

i was a bit disappointed when i found out there was no online and even though it had the full edit mode it is still missing being able to write anything on the shirts for example 'fly emirates'. however, being a long term pro evo fan the gameplay is far from disappointing. it is similar to pes 6 but is a little sharper in passing and shooting and there is less problems with the framerate. but still i would reccomend this game to any serious football fan out there.

i had mixed feelings about this game when i bought it. the gameplay is good old pes, but the shooting and set pieces can stil be improved. the graphics are smooth but just dont try to push the psp to its limits like god of war but are still better than its rivals fifa 08. its sound is pretty rubbish, i would rather listen to stupid commentators than white noise. but the replay value is excellent because of master league. i was dissapointed there were no online features.graphics: 8.8/10gameplay: 9.4/10sound: 6.9/10replay value: 9.2/10OVERALL:8.6/10

Very good game for psp. I'm really not a fan of pes but i liked this years installment. The animations are smooth, the graphics are ok and the gameplay it pretty good. However there a few things that need to be sorted- The commentators only commentate when you score!? And the master league- i find overly complicated especially with transfers. But everthing else is pretty good. I'd give it 7.5/ 10

I give this game 10/10; i've been playing this for a number of months now yet i am not bored of it the reason being is that u can comlete loads of different cups and u can change the emblem home and away kit therefor i can even play this for years because every year the kit changes most of the time and u can change the kit to the kit in real Life !! unlike fifa 08 u cant change the kit so if u wanted to play it in 2009 the kit will be old bbut on pes u can adapt the kit to the new season kit
