I Just Love The Guides There An Massive Help

I found the guide very useful; it has a very good pokedex. It has good maps, gtame guide and a extremly good begginers guide to Pokemon. But it does only have one half of the game in it (the easier half) so I have to say the guide is better for people who are relitavly new to Pokemon. It also has good guides on how to get items. If you have completed the first half of the game then it is complety pointless buying the guide, so you would be better buying the guide only when you first get the game. I would advise only begginers to buy the guide and for everyone else to wait for the next one.

The reason mewtwo ho oh and lugia are not mentioned in depth is because the correct way to obtain them is through the kanto reigon which as you have mentioned is not included in this guide.

Found the guide somewhat useful, although I agree with Anthony Chaplin that some of the information is quite clearly incorrect. Second book for Kanto has been pushed back to 30/5/2010, which will hopefully be more comprehensive. Dissapointing when compared to the excellent Platinum guide.

I am finding this guide helpful. However at the same time, most things it covers are hard to miss. The maps, pokedex etc are great though.I too was diappointed that Kanto is not covered in this guide. Is there a good reason for that?One last thing. I noticed that it says this guide is volume 1. Are we to expect another volume? Is there a reason that it can't all be covered in one guide and save us some money?
