Very useful for the whole interface
This remote doesn't just let you control blu-rays or discs, it lets you use the ps3 like you would normally except for games. It has MANY more buttons than the normal control pad allowing you to do some things much quicker. It is also connected via bluetooth which means you dont have to point it at the ps3 like the original tv and dvd player remotes.

A great buy, its bluetooth so no hassle having to point it just right unlike any other un-official remotes all being infared that i know of and it has the PS butten so you can turn Ps3 on and off with it. Easy to use designed mainly for the DVD and Blu Ray use of Ps3 but is also good for browsing the XMB bar selecting any video, picture and music files. Also for just checking on any current downloads or browsing the PSstore. If youre thinking about it then Ide say that you need it so go on buy it. (GAME is the best price around too)
