The Nintendo 3DS XL literally expands the fun of the Nintendo 3DS with a 90 percent larger screen, creating even more immersive entertainment experiences for users, delivering a wealth of games and video content that can be enjoyed on the go. All 3DS games are compatible with the 3DS XL, meaning you can experience all the fun of glasses-free 3D graphics and gameplay, bigger and more vibrant than ever!
The Nintendo 3DS XL features a longer battery life than the 3DS, and even includes a 4 GB SD card which you can use to store content such as downloadable games and videos from the Nintendo eShop.
Please note – the 3DS XL does not include an AC adaptor; this will be sold separately. However, the adaptor from the 3DS and DSi is compatible with the 3DS XL.

Super Mario sees Mario into a 3D world where, for the first time, you can see the depth of the land, rather than a rendered 3D game where depth perception can be tricky!
Pulling from Mario games of yesteryear, Super Mario exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS will feature abilities that Mario fans have been asking for to make a return such as the Tanooki tail, giving Mario the ability to hover, glide and attack.
Mario will also gain some new moves in Super Mario to add to his impressive repertoire such as the Somersault attack and the ability to run faster with the dash move.

Brilliant and Cheap!
The saving of 40 pounds makes this a 160 pound purchase. A normal 3ds XL costs the same, The white version is so much nicer than the other ones and with that you get 3d land which is 30 pounds in itself. The games are great for it, you have to buy a charger but that is not much. Its a huge value for money, thoroughly recommend purchasing it.

Amazing :D
Traded my 3ds in to get this and im loving it the bigger screen is soo much better and the 3d seems better as well as its easier to keep it in the sweet spot for the 3d you don't get as much glare on these screens either. the resolution is the same so it does make it a tiny bit more pixelated but you really have to look for it so don't worry about that.The battery is also a lot better lasts about 6-8 hours.now for the button the start,home and select buttons are better now that proper button and not like the normal 3ds where is just like a strip.the D-pad seems nicer too feels more sturdy.The analog stick is the same and the X,Y,A,B buttons seem a little nicer too also the 3d slider has got a lock on it that clicks into place so you can't turn it on by mistake.The shoulder buttons are better as there now as clicky as the 3ds ones are.The stylus is in a better place now at the side rather then at the top of the system so that's a lot easier to get too.the headphone jack is on the bottom left hand side now rather then in the middle.The finish is nice as well because its a matt finish and now shiny so no more finger prints.
so to finish this review up i give this a 5/5 stars. If you haven't got a 3ds yet get this the Xl it costs a little more but is well worth it. or if you are thinking about trading it in go for it you wont be disappointed
As for the game Mario 3D Land. its a great game can't put it down if you're a Mario fan you will love it. Happy gaming guys

3ds download
I brought this for my 5yr olds birthday on the 12th of jan i was told that the mario game was already on the memory card this was not the case we had to download it off the eshop and was also told to register console on nintendo site by the 15th jan to get free game download this was a complete nightmare as we kept trying and trying daily and even emailed nintendo with no reply and we tryed on the early hours of the 16th and guess what we could register so i guess nintendo didnt want people to have the free download im very dispointed to say the least

Nintendo did reply today and have agreed the free down load as i emailed them before the promotion ended although im still waiting for a code its

Found out how to download the free game
OK I was having the same problem. register to the club then register the actual console. (yuo recive two red leaflets with pins) once you have done that you do a survery and at the end theres a tiny little picture link saying click to download. You choose the game you want and they email you the code. Go to the orange bag and download :) bit faffy but worth it
