Great game as expected :D
The game is absolutely brilliant!! All Naruto fans are advised to buy this!! Due to the place the story is at in the anime this game was only ever going to be a setting the scene type of game as the next game should be the most epic one in the series to date!! Cannot wait... The only criticism I have is the lack of movement possible in freeplay as was possible back in the Rise of the Ninja/Broken Bond games. Apart from that PERFECTION!!!! :D

One of the best Naruto games out there!
The graphics are outstanding and the combat system has been refined compared to its predecessors, with also some new combat techniques thrown in. It's a pick-up & play type of game (which casuals will appreciate) BUT the combat offers enough depth that veterans can master it and show off their skills online. This game also has some of the best boss battles I have ever had the pleasure of fighting against, and does something which a lot of games couldn't do...make QTEs (quick time events) awesome and fun to do! This game's story mode is extremely faithful to the series and is very story driven (so if you don't know much about what is happening in the anime/manga, then you're gonna feel completely lost when playing it.) The bottom line. If you're a Naruto fan, then you're gonna have a blast with this game...if not, then this game is probably not for you.

Epic game But one problem
I love the game. My only issue is where it shows on the product details it comes with the Goku outfit dlc, when i received mine today i didn't get the code so that was massively disappointing. Truthfully i would've brought it pre owned if i knew it didn't come with this code. But the game is amazing i have no other complaints great for any Naruto fan.

Ive been in contact with customer services for 12 days now and today i was sent a code which turned out to be the 5 costume pack (pre order bonus) then when i replied and told customer services that they sent me a code for the wrong thing i was told '' I can confirm that the only download code we have for this game is the Goku costume pack. Having looked through the previous emails to yourself, I can see that this has already been sent for you'' which is wrong because this is the first code I've received in the 12 days since purchasing the game and it's not even the code i should'ave received. In my reply to that i sent the redeem code to customer services and said they could even check for themselves. They didn't reply.

I just got a reply from customer services and they said ''Thank you for your email. I apologize for the fact you have not received this bonus, but we do keep this on the website for customer who have pre ordered. I apologize for any inconvenience.''

Hi, We've looked into this a bit further. The preorder bonus - which was an additional code for a different costume (not the Goku DLC) - was available for Customers who preordered whilst the bonus was up on site. However, the Goku outfit DLC should have been included in the boxed copy you purchased and received.

Thanks for a reply, i contacted customer services and i was told where i didn't pre order i cant be given a code. By how this game is advertised with the picture in the products details its misleading, also where the title of this product is named a ''D1 edition'' i expected this to be a special edition not a limited offer.

Same Game With Improvements...
Alot has gone into the story mode its much much better than the previous titles, but doesn't follow the anime enirely. (Not a bad thing) Controls are the same apart from you can go into awakening mode with some characters from the start instead of when your health gets low. As well as the boost in playable characters. I feel its just like the Dragon Ball Z games getting very repetitive, having finished story mode find myself bored of online after while. But still a great game!!
