Monster Hunter Tri with Classic Controller Pro Product Details
Released on 23/04/2010
Embark on a series of quests on land and at sea encounter giant monsters.....and hunt them. That’s the story mode but there’s also an online mode which sees you teaming up with three of your friends players to hunt these monsters, or try two-player split screen.
Features:
- Co-op Hunting: In the hunt, you’re never alone. Hunt together with up to 4 players online, with the availability for 2-player split-screen. In single-player mode, you even have the ability to hunt with AI-controlled characters named ChaCha.
- Monsters with Unique Abilities and Attacks: Monsters have unique and dynamic personalities, abilities and defenses, increasing in complexity as the player progresses. They camouflage themselves to ambush hunters, but will flee or call for help if outmatched. You need to know your monsters to be ultimate hunter.
- Immense Living, Breathing World with Ecosystem: Monsters interact amongst each other in a living breathing ecosystem, complete with food chain. Monsters have stamina, migrate and even attack one another, the strong feeding on the weak.
- New Underwater Maps: For the first time ever in any Monster Hunter game, you will be able explore land and sea and hunt monsters of the deep.
- Fully Customizable Equipment: With seven weapon categories – including the all-new “Switch Axe” – and new armor and weaponry created from the remains of slain monsters, there are almost limitless opportunities for equipment customization.
- Choice of Controls: Play with either the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, or with the Classic Controller"

It seems like only a few weeks since we were slurping up news from Gamescom in Cologne (probably because it was only a few weeks ago) but now all eyes are on Japan, as the Tokyo Games Show bursts into life.
Predictably, Nintendo has dominated the first day of the show, with a slew of announcements that should make 3DS owners very happy.
First up is the news that the 3DS port of Monster Hunter Tri - with its second stick add-on - will be followed by official sequel Monster Hunter 4, which will be a Nintendo exclusive. Given that the series has driven the PSP to incredible success in Japan, that's quite a coup for Team Mario.
Also confirmed are pre-Christmas European release dates for Super Mario 3D Land (November 18th) and Mario Kart 7 (December 2nd). The lack of Mario on the 3DS has been a sore point since its Easter launch, so fans will surely be pleased with that. December 2nd will also see the European launch of Pokemon Rumble Blast, the first 3DS title for another classic Nintendo series.
Looking ahead to 2012, Mario Tennis and Animal Crossing will debut on the handheld, while Luigi's Mansion, Kid Icarus and Paper Mario are also on the way.

Capcom has announced that it will be bringing its multimillion-selling Monster Hunter series to the Nintendo 3DS.
The developer revealed at this week's Tokyo Game Show that a revamped version of the Wii hit Monster Hunter Tri is in development for Nintendo's handheld and will make its Japanese debut later this year.
Monster Hunter Tri G will include all of the features of the home console release plus new touch-based control options, as well as a host of additional creatures, quests, items and characters.
Capcom also announced that the next fully-fledged sequel in the series, Monster Hunter 4, is also coming to the Nintendo 3DS at some point in the future.
Monster Hunter has become one of the most successful franchises in Japan since its 2004 debut, with 18 million games having been sold so far.
The series is also making inroads in Western markets, thanks to the high-profile releases of games such as Monster Hunter Tri and Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite on PSP.
