Your “state of mind” is your only limitation!

Get ready for MindJack in January
You may not have heard of MindJack yet, but you should probably try and get excited about it double-quick. It's the new game from Final Fantasy publisher Square Enix, and it's just been announced that it's going to hit shops around the UK on 21st January next year.
As the name sort of hints at, MindJack is a science fiction game about taking over other people's brains. So far, so Quantum Leap, but you're not going to be gently putting right things that once went wrong. Oh no: you're going to be getting stuck into fast-paced shoot outs.
A pacy blend of single- and multi-player game styles, MindJack uses massive team deathmatch battles to progress its complex story. Players hack into a host game, and take on roles of allies or enemies, and, if killed, can leap into any soldier, civilian, or even robot who happens to be nearby.
With experience points and upgrades available to sweeten the deal, MindJack is looking like a fascinating multiplayer prospect. The game's developed by feelplus, who worked on RPGs like Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery, and you can expect to pick up this particular shooter for either the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

SquareEnix has reminded gamers that its new shooter Mindjack is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week.
The new action game from developer feelplus sees players take control of a federal agent in the not-too-distant future who is given the ability to hack and take control of other characters and machinery.
As they progress through the conspiracy-laden story, gamers will accrue experience points and upgrade their various abilities, gaining access to advanced weapons and real-life fighting techniques such as Krav Maga.
Mindjack is set to differentiate itself from other third-person shooters with a unique online mode that blends together solo and multiplayer elements.
At any time, players can hack into the games of others via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, allowing them to take control of the in-game enemies and allies seen in other users' solo campaigns.
SquareEnix's Ned Browning said: "Mindjack takes everything you know about both single and multiplayer games and completely turns it on its head."Published: 19/01/2011
