This Lexar Workflow CR2 Reader is a CFast Reader, part of the Workflow Range for use in the Lexar HR2 Workflow Hub, or on its own with the included USB cable. It is a Thunderbolt™ 2 / USB 3.0 Reader for the latest CFast Memory cards. Thunderbolt 2 technology gives photographers and videographers the power to quickly transfer 4K video and other large media files, at up to twice the speed of Thunderbolt and up to 4x the speed of USB 3.0 devices. The benefit of the Workflow system is that data transfers and backups of images and video can be done from multiple memory cards at once. Workflow Hubs (available separately) leverage the latest technology for fast data transfer in the form of USB 3.0 or as in this HR2 Hub, Thunderbolt™ 2 technologies for high-speed transfer and backup of RAW images, high-res photos, and HD, 3D, and 4K video. It is an innovative, modular design, you can use one of each reader, or all the same, or a mix of what you want within the Workflow Hub. A reader doesn't have to used in the hub, you can take it with you and use it connected directly to your laptop with supplied cable. There are two Workflow Storage Drives (available separately) that can also be used with the Hub, 256GB or 512GB. Simple setup and use.
