In the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, player-character Link is a young man raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village. Ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit, he sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon Princess Zelda's kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free. With the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the Twilight.

Twilight Princess players join Link, Zelda, Midna and many other Zelda characters old and new, exploring the vast land of Hyrule and uncovering the mystery behind its plunge into darkness. As they go, Twilight Princess players enlist the aid of friendly folk, solve puzzles and battle through dangerous dungeons. In the Twilight Realm, they’ll have to use Link's wolf abilities and Midna’s magic to bring light to the land.

Besides Link's trusty sword and shield, Twilight Princess players use Link's bow and arrows, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other Zelda items, both new and old. Twilight Princess players can use the Wii Remote as a fishing pole, aim with the Wiimote, or spin the Nunchuk controller to execute a spin attack.

  • Classic Zelda puzzling: Many puzzles stand between Link and the fulfillment of his quest, so Twilight Princess players must sharpen their wits as they hunt for weapons and items.

    With Skyward Sword, Nintendo's first Zelda game for the Wii in five years, now only a few months away, more and more details about the eagerly anticipated adventure are being released.

    Rather than picking up from Twilight Princess, the 2006 title that marked Link's last appearance on the Wii, Skyward Sword is instead a prequel to the entire epic saga, taking us back to a time when Link and Zelda were childhood friends. They'll both be at a school, where Link's father is headmaster. The plot of the game will follow Link as he assembles the Master Sword, the weapon he has wielded throughout the series.

    It's also been confirmed that the game will have three different HUD settings. The Standard setting shows the Wii remote on-screen at all times, with button prompts. Light removes the Wii remote overlay but keeps the prompts. Pro is for those who want to play in the old-fashioned way, with only health and other relevant info kept on-screen.

    Skyward Sword has been described as one of the biggest development projects in Nintendo's history. We'll get to see if it was worth the wait when it swishes into action on November 18th.

A must have for a Zelda fan
I am a massive Zelda nerd and this is definitely one of the best games nintendo have produced, closely followed by Majora's mask. I'm playing it around for my seventh time now :)

Amazing game
Very good game very addictive and it gives you a great challenge. The story is good as well. Any Wii owner should get this game.

...wow!
I was absolutely blown away by this game, sure the start's a bit slow and ocarina of time is better, but i doubt many games can beat ocarina of time anyway. Once it gets going you will not be able to put this down

good very good but not so good
game starts good then it gets interesting but after you get the master sword you lose interest i don't think the master sword had alot to do it this one i mean i took ganondorf out with the ordan sword lol best moment of the game i hardley used the master sword
