You see some strange things at a railway station, but Jan van Haasteren’s wonderful imagination has helped him draw in more than most of us have encountered! Platform Pandemonium is a busy, colourful jigsaw puzzle full of the sort of comical features that have fans chuckling as they puzzle. One gentleman seems to have returned from a safari trip, and brought a monkey with him. But is that all – what’s that tail hanging out of the suitcase? The police are struggling to catch the escaped convict – will they find him before the train pulls out? Possibly as it is held up by the couple in the door way who apparently can’t bear to be parted!
Most of Jan’s fans will immediately look for his trademark – the shark’s fin – which is featured in every puzzle, and will be able to find some of his other favourites – St Nicholas is waiting for a train and I am pretty sure the ‘hands’ are in there somewhere. If you have never puzzled a Jan van Haasteren before, be sure to look out for these – and other things – that will have you smiling as you puzzle.
The completed 500 piece puzzle measures 49 x 35cm (approximately). It comes in a smaller than usual box (for easier storage) so there is a ‘poster’ included to make it easier for you to see the detail of the picture.
Suitable for people aged TBD and over.
