What is not covered
There are a number of exclusions applicable to GAMEcare, some examples of which are listed below:

  • Tick GAME warranty does not include Deliberate damage.
  • Tick GAME warranty does not include Damage of a cosmetic nature, e.g. scratches or chips.
  • Tick GAME warranty does not include Damage caused by not following the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Tick GAME warranty does not include Accessories that were not included with the original product.

How To Take Out Cover
Simple and straightforward! This cover can be taken out at any UK GAME Store, just ask a member of staff for details. Unfortunately cover cannot be taken out online at GAME.co.uk.

* 1 year of breakdown cover is provided with the purchase of your console. GAMEcare includes 1 further year of breakdown cover and accidental damage cover from the date you purchased your console.


What If I've Already Bought My Console?

It may not be too late to take out this great value cover and protect your purchase. After purchasing your console from a GAME store or Game.co.uk, we can give you 30 days to take out GAMEcare provided your console has not been damaged. Simply return to a GAME store with your original purchase receipt and a member of staff will assist you.

GAMEcare is only available to persons over the age of 18 and must be residents of the UK or Republic of Ireland. Persons under 18 require a parental guardian to register the console.

Important Information

  • The plan can be cancelled within 45 days of purchase, and you will receive a full refund, provided you have not used any services under the plan.
  • If we provide you with replacement equipment or vouchers, you plan will cease.
  • You should be advised that extended warranties are available from other high street outlets, insurance companies and other providers. Cover may also be available for limited periods on some appliances from your credit card provider. Some household insurance contents insurance policies offer cover for accidental damage, fire or theft. You may, however, find that an excess is payable and a claim may affect the cost of subsequent insurance premiums.
