We have different kinds of Gift Cards and vouchers which can be used in-store or online.
Gift Cards can be bought in-store or at GAME.co.uk, and can be used in store and now at GAME.co.uk if you have a new style version with a scratch off PIN.
eGift Vouchers are the online equivalent of a physical gift card. They are currently not available to buy, but any that you have can still be redeemed at GAME.co.uk.
Promotional Codes are given out by Customer Services, via our business partners, or via Facebook or other promotional challenges. These can only be used at GAME.co.uk

How to buy a Gift Card Online
We have a range of pre-paid Gift Cards available to buy from GAME.co.uk and these can be purchased just as you would purchase any other product on the site.
How to buy a Gift Card in a GAME Store
Please take your Gift Card to any till and tell the member of staff the monetary value you want to add to the Gift Card (from £1 up to a limit of £500). You will then be asked to pay for the Gift Card in the usual way. After paying, you will be provided with a receipt showing the value of the Gift Card and the Gift Card will be ready to use.
How to use the Gift Card in store
The Gift Card can be used in full or part payment of absolutely any products available in GAME stores in the UK (except GAME concessions within department stores). The purchase price of the chosen product(s) will be deducted from the balance on the Gift Card and any amount left on the Gift Card will be shown on the receipt. If you want to know the balance on the Gift Card at any time, just take the Gift Card to any till and a member of staff will be happy to tell you.
How do I spend my physical Gift Card at GAME.co.uk
The Gift Card can be used in full or part payment of any products available on GAME.co.uk excluding preorders. The purchase price of the chosen product(s) will be deducted from the balance on the Gift Card. When you place your order you must enter the Gift Card number and PIN into the 'I have a Gift Card' box and select the pink 'Apply' button. You can redeem multiple Gift Cards per order.
If you have paid with a physical Gift Card at GAME.co.uk and either you cancel your order or we need to cancel your order we will refund the Gift Card balance as an eGift Voucher, which will be emailed to you.
Topping up a Gift Card
If at any time you want to top-up the amount on the Gift Card, simply take the Gift Card to any till, tell the member of staff the monetary value you want to add and pay in the usual way.
eGift Vouchers are gift vouchers for use in our online store. They are electronic, unlike physical Store Gift Cards, and are sent out via email.
While eGift Vouchers are currently unavailable to buy, any existing vouchers you have can be used against any online order, as long as the order is within the age and date restrictions of the voucher(s).
If you have paid with a physical eGift Voucher at GAME.co.uk and either you cancel your order or we need to cancel your order, we will refund the balance as an eGift Voucher. This digital voucher code will be emailed to you.
How do I spend my eGift Voucher?
Once you have received your eGift Voucher simply browse the site and choose the product(s) you want to buy. When you place your order you must enter the eGift Voucher code(s) you received into the 'I have an eGift Voucher' box and select the pink 'Apply' button. You can redeem multiple eGift Voucher codes per order.
You must redeem your eGift Voucher before the expiry date which was noted in the eGift Voucher email you received. This will be 12 months from the date you received the email from GAME.
What if my my total order value is less than my eGift Voucher value?
Unfortunately any unused eGift Voucher credit will be lost if the eGift Voucher is redeemed against an order of a lower value. You could add more products to your order to use up all the eGift Voucher credit or, if using multiple eGift Vouchers, remove one voucher and pay the balance, saving an eGift Voucher for another day. You will be notified in the basket if this issue occurs and advised to update your order.
My eGift Voucher has an Age Restriction applied. What does this mean?
When purchasing this eGift Voucher the gifter can choose to add an age restriction to the eGift Voucher. This means that you may not purchase products with an age rating higher than the specified age restriction of the eGift Voucher. For example if the age restriction of an eGfit Voucher is set to 'age 7 and under' you may not use this eGift Voucher to purchase a 12+ rated game. This is a feature designed to protect younger shoppers from products which are not suitable for their age. Please see our guide to Age Ratings for more information.
I have lost my eGift voucher, what do I do?

Promotional Codes are codes that are supplied via our social media channels or business partners as part of a promotional offer, or by our Customer Services team.
How do I redeem my Promotional Code?
Promotional codes can only be used online. When you place your order you must enter the Promotional Code into the 'Promotional Code' box and select the pink 'Apply' button.
