Great Game
This game is great to play alone, even better with a friend. it can be difficult to play splitscreen so i wouldn't recomend playing it that way. But play it online or system link and you will enjoy this game a lot.

Hunted
This game is a must have for RPG lovers.. i think it has great gameplay and great co-op but too much play can make it a little boring after a while

A rough diamond
Held off on buying this game at £40 due to mixed reviews. Sure, it promised more than it delivered and the co-op interaction is not as polished as it could have been- but lets face it, what other new ideas are being tried at the moment? True, at £40 its probably not woth it. At £10 it's worth every penny

Flawed single-player but worth it for the co-op. Fantasy…
If we're being honest with ourselves here, the amount of worthwhile co-op games that aren't FPS's can be counted on one hand. Hunted, whilst repetitive and perhaps a tad rough around the edges, serves it's purpose as a competent if never spectacular third person hack and slash affair that works in co-op, but is largely a non-event in single-player mode. Choosing to be either a melee-specialist warrior or a deadly, sharpshooting elven archer, two players working through the game can complement each other's playstyles fairlly effectively; creating real moments of tension in the process. An example of this, was myself playing the warrior whilst my partner took the role of the Elf. As a rampaging horde approached, she was able to kill most of them or break the shields of the strongest enemies - resulting in easy kills for me as I prevented them from reaching her. The game also boasts a progressional unlock system for magic too. Throughout the game you accrue crystals which can be spent on upgrading the magic that your character has. A first level fire spell for example, impacts just a single enemy knocking them backwards briefly, whilst a fully upgraded fire spell, creates multiplying proximity orbs of fire and lava that cause huge, rupturing explosions; destroying whole groups of enemies in the process. Story-wise the game is fairly typical, but as one reviewer alluded to - the devil is in the details and what makes the cookie-cutter plot endurable is the dry, sardonic wit that our two heroes constantly spout to each other throughout their adventure. Ultimately then, Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a game that can't really stand on it's own two feet as a single-player experience, but get a friend in and it becomes an entertaning affair as the two of you hack, slash, shoot and magic your way through to the game's conclusion. And lets be honest - fresh co-op experiences that don't include chainsaws and guns are few and far between and at this price, you get easily get two copies and still only have paid roughly half what you would for a full price game. Recommended.

Nice for a while
Nice game, little boring after a while, funny dialogs, a lot of fun while playing co-op.
