Great Game, Gran Turismo 5 Academy Edition.
If you love racing games then this is right up your street, it is simply awesome with loads of fantastic cars and tracks. 9.5/10

The Real Driving Simulator
Just had to correct J's (previous comment) terrible spelling "as if you're". As for the game? Exactly as it says on the box, the real driving simulator. Am I qualified to state that? Yes.

Poor
There is nothing wrong with this academy edition, its the whole gran turismo experience which is poor. Its seriously out dated and hasn't really moved on from gt4, the driving isn't responsive enough, the controls haven't changed e.g. you can't vary the throttle even if you change the configuration it just changes it from on and off to on, slighty on and off. The Forza series is far more advanced and intuitive. The rallying on gt5 feels flat and incredibly unrealistic, asif your driving on tarmac that just looks like dirt. That said rallying on games like this are never much good. So over all the game is okay is your used to the gran turismo series but for real drivers and people that want a decent driving game this isn't it. I recomend the forza motorsport series and for rallying the Dirt series.
