GoldenEye 007 - Nintendo 64 (Preowned) Cool Stuff

To say that GoldenEye 007 wasn't immediately recognised as being the genre-defining experience it was is an understatement. The controls were different by FPS standards and took a little getting used to, many of the game mechanics were original (incorporating heavy elements of stealth which pre-dated Metal Gear Solid) and the unrivalled depth of gameplay only really became apparent after putting in many hours of practise, and only when playing on the harder difficulty levels. Notably, even industry bible EDGE got it wrong, scoring the game a 9 and later confessing that it should have awarded it the almost-impossible-to-attain perfect 10.

With varied, challenging and intelligent gameplay, a musical score which few games have yet surpassed, a massive number of weapons and gadgets at your disposal, unmatched level design and a multiplayer game of a quality that few titles have managed to approach in the 10 years + since the game was originally released, GoldenEye 007 is fondly remembered as one of the greatest games of all time and justifiably so.
