Gioteck EX-05 Wired Stereo Headset for Xbox 360 Accessories

bought these at christmas. got home found out it doesnt bring the cables you need to make it work. after another trip to spend more money im finally plugged in. sounds quite good must say but after 1 month my right side earcup falls off. there was bad stiching on it and the whole thing fell off after medium useage. i take it back to game and they say....our store might be closing down we cant change it come back if we survive the bailout of our company....1 month later with a glued on earcup i start getting crackles and sound goes on and off. i take to store and they say its too late to bring them back. these are worst headphones i have had in terms of build quality. cheap made. and it says military grade on the box lol.....yerh mate. Ive been very upset with GAME staff on the whole about this. bad item, bad company. i have been so loyal for so long i feel totally snubbed. ill make sure to shop elsewhere and let as many ppl know so same doesnt happen to them goodbye :/

I will go on about the very few issues I have found with this headest first. For one, it is not sold with an AV cable, meaning that unless you have your own, or intend to play using a new Xbox (the premium variant) then you'll have to purchase the AV cable that is unfortunately not included. Secondly, while the metal grip extensions are very strong and keep the headset firmly at one length, the paint coating is thin and will wear down in time, leaving very minor copper-like markings on it. Finally, there is no full mute option for sound, so if muting a player using in-game chat systems is not an option, then you'll have to deal with it. Now onto the good parts. The headset itself is incredibly comfortable, and rest assured that by the time your headset will be uncomfortable, you'll have been playing for a good 6-8 hours. The audio pickup is immense, and as advertised, will amplify your ability to hear sounds in-game, allowing you that extra edge in games like Call of Duty and Skyrim, where you'll hear the enemy before you see them. This also means that you can play at any volume you need without anyone else being able to hear, even in the room itself (allowing complete silence, but sound on the TV can still be available should someone else in the room want to hear). The dual-audio channels mean that you can happily tweak both in-game and communication audio to your desire. The design itself is very appealing, and it's tough. The value for money is astonishing, and it provides absolutely everything you'll ever need from a headset, judging from specifications and self-testing, it competes with similarly-priced Turtle Beach headsets of a similar price, and I personally would choose the Gioteck over them. All in all, the three slight issues put to one side, it's an must for any gamer who wishes to have a high-power audio headset without breaking the bank. Until you've played with this type of headset, you haven't played.

This headset is amazing and it was well worth the money i paid for it even though having to install it was a bit complicated. I would not hesitate to buy this product is i was you.

very good head sets just dont leave the usb on all the time it will burn out.
