The batteries do hold their charge but the docking station isnt very stable and my remotes do not seem to sit properly at times so you have to keep an eye on them incase they get knocked ever so slightly

GAMEware Wii Double Charging Station - White
So far the batteries have held their charge. The only problem i have had is when holding the remote in the traditional method. ie for super mario bros. wiil. You end up touching the sync button by accident. The remote then needs synced again. Which is frustrating while trying to take on Bowser!
