Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Review

After watching the end credits of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, you'll immediately restart from the beginning with a massive grin. A third-person beat-em-up that's fast, stylish and unforgiving, Revengeance feels like the future of high-octane entertainment, an endlessly replayable game that blasts out of the gate and simply doesn't stop until the final strike hits home - though there's plenty of slow-mo along the way.…

It's a game full of action and content that can be played entirely at your own pace and choice of difficulty, which can range from easy walkover to genuinely hard. Provided you can get into Tecmo-Koei's groove, works beautifully as a battlefield brawler where progression is constant and your sense of increasing power grows with each stage.…

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 - Review

The series is perhaps best known for thrusting the player into the midst of a throng of ancient warriors in games loosely based on the Three Kingdoms historical Chinese era. The Gundam spin-offs, however, look forward to an alternate future of giant sparring robots, duking it out on sprawling battlefields with beam swords and 2-ton rifles.…
