Assassin's Creed III - Review
An astonishing achievement on a number of levels and represents the current pinnacle of the series' ambition. This is a different kind of adventure to that of Ezio, but it's no less brilliant. Buy it. Your history teacher will be impressed.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Review
The premise of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is titanic on a couple of fronts. A third-person action game taking place in a brutal, 41st millennium science fiction setting, it puts you in the shoes of Captain Titus, leader of the human Ultramarines, the Emperor's chosen armies in an ongoing battle for the survival of humanity.

Binary Domain - Review
Binary Domain is a third-person shooter which puts players in the middle of a battle for humanity in robot-invaded Tokyo in the year 2080. You take control of an elite group of soldiers tasked with hunting down 'Hollow Children', machines that are indistinguishable from humans in terms of their outward physical appearances and actions, much like Terminators or Battlestar Galactica's Cylons.

Max Payne 3 Review
The locations are brilliantly detailed - studiously assembled visions of a Sao Paolo favela, or the guts of a huge sports venue, or the inside of a rotting hotel that's been converted into a giant torture chamber - and as long as Max is diving around them in slow motion you should be having fun.

Splinter Cell: Conviction - Review
Sam's no longer in the employ of Third Echelon, the shady intelligence agency who provided much of his recent work. He's retired, trying to live the quiet life. Of course, it wouldn't be much of a game if that were the case, so it's not long before he's drawn back into the darkness, on a personal mission to find the man who killed his daughter. This time, it really is personal...

2009 Batman: Arkham City was hailed by many as the greatest superhero game of all time, but Batman: Arkham City arguably takes the genre to new heights with the introduction of a stunning open-world setting and more fully-realised characters.

Gears of War: Judgment - Review
While Judgment may technically be more of the same, it couldn't feel more different. The mechanics are familiar but everything around them has been shuffled, remixed and shaken up
