Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Product Details

Released on 14/03/2008

Fight the power! That is the mantra of the Dawn Brigade as they battle to free their homeland from the tyranny of an evil empire in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the latest in the long-running Fire Emblem strategy-RPG series.

Like the other games in the Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is a deep, tactical strategy game that boasts role-playing elements. Through strategic movements, effective items/weapons use and a little luck, players will need to defeat the opposing army on a map. Every time a unit of yours defeats an enemy unit, that unit receives experience points and becomes more powerful. Your army of rebels consists of dozens of unique characters, including knights, thieves, archers and warriors. These characters can rise to become legendary heroes, but if you’re not careful, they could perish in battle, never to be heard from again.

To command your troops, you can use the Wii Remote or Classic Controller. With the Wii Remote, you’ll simply hold it sideways (in the NES configuration), using the Control Pad to move the on-screen cursor and the 1 and 2 Buttons to confirm actions. Holding the B Button, you can also change the angle of the battle map, giving you a chance to view the battlefield from all angles.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Features:

  • Feeling attached to a character? You better watch his or her back. Each unit you command has unique attributes - with unique being the operative word. If your character is slain in battle, you lose that character for the rest of your journey.
  • Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn utilises your Nintendo GameCube completed game save file of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. You can insert your Memory Card into your Wii console and load special data to enhance your Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn experience.
  • The game features a Suspend feature, a temporary save file to give you a quick-start point if you’re afraid you’ll suffer casualties in battle. However, you can use this feature only one time per map and is only available in Hard mode.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
annoyingly addictive, 9/10, the only problem for me was that there is no way to get back to the title screen except to die, so u have to restart the console if, for example a character you like dies

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
If you played and loved any other fire emblem, you'll love Radiant Dawn. The graphics aren't spectacular to any degree however since when has fire emblem ever been about graphics? The gameplay is what you buy it for!Like most Fire Emblem games, interesting storylines with characters you're bound to fall in love with. As the saying goes: It's easy to play, hard to master ;)
