Dungeon Hunter Alliance PS Vita

i love dungeon RPG's as well as JRPG's and this game did not disappoint at all, reminded me of Untold Legends from the psp, you only get there are only 3 jobs/classes Warrior, Rogue, Mage and you are male (well you are the king so that makes sence) whould have bin nice if there was a female character, mabe on a different story (may be DLC who knows) over all i liked this game very hack and slash with skills you level up, it has 4 player online/ad hoc game play (i have not tryed yet), it only uses thr touchscreen to cast the fairies spell, rear touch pad to move the fairies (you can use the right analog for this and she folows you when you are not moveing her), you use the motion sensor to get out of stun faster, if you like hack and slash RPG's or Untold Legends on the psp try this one out.

Dungeons Hunter, a game originally on the iOS was ported to the vita as one of the launch titles. And as a launch title, its one of the better ones. This is a simple loot fest dungeon crawler. The game attempts to have a story but really its just an excuse to enter a dungeon and destory things. To this end, it keeps things pretty simple and the controls are great, allowing you to keep the action up none stop. This is needed as the sheer amount of enemies this game will throw at you is typcial of this genre. A lot, in case you dont know. So much so, the frame rate shutters, but not to a point where the experience is ruined. The Classes are stereotypical for this genre, mage, rogue and warrior, allowing you to play the game whatever style you want, but the experience is really crafted to the more close up and personal classes, rogue and warrior. As mentioned earlier, the game was originally on the iOS and paying over £30 for a game that was much cheaper originally may feel like a raw deal at first but there is enough content in this game to make the cost feel very worth it. And the games mobile origins lends perfectly to the Vita, allowing you to dip in and out at will. Perfect for queue waiting, bus rides and those times when your waiting for someone to hurry up and get ready... Just saying. Many times I found myself having a quick hack and slash in the hope of finding some great loot. "All I need is a new sword" or "ohhh, whats this shiny new thing" were constant phrases during my play of this. Honestly, this is a cracking game for the vita, the controls are well done, its presented well and the genre lends itself perfectly to the vitas on the go style. A must for any Vita owner and any Diable fans.
