This colourful, busy and nostalgic scene is inspired by the beautiful countryside surrounding Crofton Pumping Station in Wiltshire. Close to the market town of Marlborough in Wiltshire, the Crofton Beam Engines were built to ensure a plentiful supply of water to the Kennet and Avon Canal, and are the oldest working steam engines in the world still performing their original job. Trevor Mitchell's scene is a marriage of fact and fiction, designed to give puzzle fans plenty of interesting details to discover and enjoy. But visit Crofton yourself, and you'll find a scene not so very different from this delightful and vibrant landscape.
Suitable for people aged TBD and over.
