Data Transfer Cable for Xbox 360 Accessories

does the cable work if you leave it in with external hdd like a usb storage would do in the xbos 360 S

I brought the official xbox 360 transfer cable from here and i found a piece of plastic over where i need to put the old xbox hardrive i have tried taking it off but it wont work and bends. should i try using more force.

This is the official Microsoft transfer cable, therefore making it a bit more pricey than third party transfer cables. However, it is more than worth the extra cash. Whereas third party transfer cables can sometimes only be used once, or only work with the "S" consoles, or with the old, external hard drive Xbox 360's, this transfer cable works with all 360's and can be used as much as you want. It is also cross-compatible, so you can send stuff from an "S" console to an old console or vice versa. This will be the first and last transfer cable you ever need, no matter how many hard drives or consoles you go through. Highly recommended.
