BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, currently available on XBOX 360™ and PLAYSTATION®3 is the high octane 2D fighter developed by Arc System Works, creators of the Guilty Gear franchise, and has won international critical acclaim for its stunning visuals and accessible but deep fighting system – bringing fighting game enthusiasts and novices together in a game IGN voted ‘Best Fighting Game Of The Year’.
This is the ultimate 2D fighting game on the go. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Portable has been painstakingly recreated for PSP, retaining every character, frame of animation and all the modes of the home console versions (Arcade, Versus, Score Attack, Training, and Story). In addition, two new modes, ‘Shop’ and ‘Legion’ will be included. Shop will allow players to unlock exclusive bonuses like characters and illustrations, while Legion offers a single-player strategy game, which sees you building an army of BlazBlue characters in order to capture territory against the enemy. Twelve unique combatants to choose from including 8 unlimited characters compared to the console version.
Official Playstation Magazine recently scored BlazBlue Calamity Trigger Portable 9/10.

BlazBlue fans will be able to get their hands on a limited edition version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend when it launches in the coming months.
The special version of the new Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita title will include a copy of the game and a collection of 12 high-quality concept art prints.
Displayed on high-grade Hahnemuehle Torchon art cards, the prints offer an amazing insight into the BlazBlue design process and are exclusive to the European release.
In addition, the limited edition will include the Song Interlude soundtrack, a much sought-after album that features new music from Continuum Shift Extend, plus two vocal arrangements by Daisuke Ishiwatari.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is due out in the first quarter of 2012 and is the most complete version of the game to date, including all of the content from the previous version of Continuum Shift and much more.
Among the new additions will be more playable characters, story content from the original game BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and various extra online and offline modes.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND coming to PS Vita
Aksys Games has revealed that a new instalment of the acclaimed BlazBlue fighting series is on its way to the PlayStation Vita.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND is also coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and is an updated version of last year's home console release BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.
The new game includes all of the content of the previous edition, as well as an enhanced story mode that features all-new scenarios, plus an extra playable character called Relius Clover.
Long-term fans can expect to see a revised combat system that offers better balance for all the moves and characters, while the multiplayer mode has also been enhanced with new features, such as online team battles.
The BlazBlue series will also soon be making its debut on Nintendo 3DS with the release of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 this November.
Also available for PSP, the game is another revised version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift that includes bonus modes and content of its own.

Arc System Works Europe and PQube have confirmed a November launch date for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2 on Nintendo 3DS.
The latest instalment in the acclaimed fighting game series is an enhanced version of the home console release BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, which came out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last year.
Continuum Shift 2 puts the action in the palm of your hand with 18 unique playable characters brought to life by stunning hand-drawn visuals and an in-depth combat engine.
New to this latest version will be a range of additional modes - including Abyss Mode and Stylish Mode - while all of the previous DLC content will be included as standard.
This is the second BlazBlue title to hit PSP, following the release of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Portable in 2010.
Meanwhile, Continuum Shift 2 marks the series' debut on 3DS, with the Nintendo console version to exclusively feature stunning visuals that layer 2D characters on to a 3D gameworld.
