Battlestations Pacific Product Details

Released on 15/05/2009

Battlestations: Pacific features a massive U.S. and Japanese single player campaign that offers a unique blend of action and strategy. Players must plan their moves carefully on huge open-world arenas and fight in the air, above sea and underwater to relive some of the most hard-fought battles in WWII history. With the newly added Japanese faction, players will also gain insight into what could have been, should Japan have gained the upper hand against the United States. Battlestations: Pacific also features five new innovative multiplayer modes to strategically plan and battle against friends with all new maps and units.

Set in WWII, Battlestations: Pacific delivers intense, action-packed combat and strategic warfare at an extraordinary scale and features two distinctly different single player campaigns. As the Americans, the game picks up the story where Battlestations: Midway left off and allows players to fight their way from The Battle of Midway to Okinawa as they try to secure peace in the Pacific. As the Japanese however, players take control of the Imperial Japanese fleet and have the unique chance to fight at Pearl Harbor before attempting to change the course of history and take full control of the Pacific Ocean.

Battlestations: Pacific on Xbox 360 Features:

  • The U.S. and Japanese single player campaigns in Battlestations: Pacific feature over 28 story missions, doubling the size of the previous Battlestations: Midway, and 21 new units, including kamikaze and other WWII jets and units. Players can now discover another viewpoint of the war by taking direct control of the infamous Ohka and other Japanese air units that fought over the Pacific Ocean during WWII.
  • For the first time, the game also includes the tactical landing of troops in battle. Launch your parachute squadrons with pin-point accuracy or ensure the safe passage of your landing craft and watch your battalions of troops capture key locations, man the defensive artillery and gain a strategic foothold to support your offensive efforts.
  • Battlestations: Pacific features all-new online multiplayer modes where players can actively engage in battles and skirmishes against friends online, and via System Link. With a plethora of new maps, units, and options to explore, Battlestations: Pacific delivers the most exciting, authentic and fun Battlestations experience yet.

Battlestations Pacific
A revolutionary game, a lot more realistic than it's predecessor: Battlestations Midway. This game takes you right to the front lines of some of the most famous pacific battles of WW2. Although some of the submarine missions can be quite boring, it is very satisfying when you see your torpedo hit a ship, and watch it break in two. If you find single player a little boring, take the game online with five different play modes to play from, play with up to 8 players. This is a very realistic war strategy, and i would recommend it it to anyone. Fantastic Game 4.5/5

Battlestations Pacific
Amazingly well designed game with the graphics to match. Battlestaions pacific puts you on the front line in a plane or at the helm of a ship to try and drive the japanese out of the pacific or crush the Americans as the Japanese. The game can be played from the front line or you can take control of the whole battlefield using the gps map. BP is an amazing stratergy game and an intense action game. But all this is even better if you take it online to shoot down your friends. It is definatly better in multiplayer as it can get boring in single player but the multiplayer is worth it.

Battlestations Pacific
I would definitely recommend this game, it was really fun, though you do tend to get the odd headache from time to time due to the camera and angles and such, but is a real blast to play and the graphics are just absolutely stunning, the controls are easy and would be more fun to play if you have a joystick for the 360 (would make it a lot easier)

Fantastic Game, Loved the first one but this improves on everything from sound to the sea. Graphics are brilliant and its got a good amount of things to do to keep you busy. 2 Stories, American, Japanese then skirmish mode on any multiplayer map against AI then its has multiplayer ranked or player match. Oh and plenty of dlc so far I think there's three lots :) Hope this Helped. Try The demo and you will understand what I mean :)
