After much contemplating I finally shelled out the cash for this fightstick - and it did not disappoint. This is actually my first arcade stick too, so I've got nothing to compare it to, which I believe is a good thing. The fightstick has a nice, weighty feel to it and give the impression that it's a quality product, which it is. The buttons are incredibly responsive and work with the slightest of touches or even if you're probably playing just a little too hard. The added turbo mode is a nice bonus despite the fact that I probably won't use it, and it also comes with a headset connector so that you can plug your original Xbox 360 headset into the fightstick and it'll work fine. The rubber pads on the bottom of the stick are incredibly useful if you're playing on a table as it stops it from sliding around, and the artwork on the stick itself is brilliant. Overall, a quality product that I'd highly recommend. Making the change from Xbox 360 controller to arcade stick in a game like

I was looking at buying a custom made arcade stick from a hong kong retailer, but after seeing this was back in stock, and reading from Markman (one of the designers of the stick) that Madcatz had fixed the washer issue that scraped off the circuit board on some first batch copies, I bought this, looking at replacing the parts with Sanwa later on. And so far i'm impressed with even the stock parts, it's responsive and not too light which was the problem with the Hori stick. I can pull off moves almost at the same level I did 15 years ago in the arcade with SF2. And better still it looks like it's a piece of cake to replace the buttons and joystick with Sanwa parts quite easily (Note this will void your warranty so don't attempt unless you are prepared to risk it, and know what you are doing.) which is what I intend to do in a couple of weeks time. Good job Madcatz, first good joystick sinse the Dreamcast pad.

After many reports of DOA models, I was skeptical to say the least but I went through and ordered anyway. I recieved a fully working model and it is beyond awesome! My game is so much better now, i can pull off vega + guiles ultra 100% of the time now w00t!

Great arcade stick! The buttons are very responsive and so is the stick, theres nothing i can complain about except that you shouldnt compare it to the Tournament edition as it is half that price and you could always fit your own sanwa parts on it.

this is the best arcade stick ive ever played with, there is no problem with unresponsive controls. the only reason i wouldnt give this 10/10 is because there's a tournament edition out there somewhere
