ok im going to be honest as the guys above either dont own both or have bought a ps2 mistaking it for a ps3. so heres a non biast opinions for those of you tat are interested i have a PS3,360 and a wii i will say my favourite is the Ps3 but the 360 aint that far behind infact its very hard to tell so ill give you my pros and cons 360 pros: its very cheap out of the box at £169 its cheaper than a psp go! it does have a great internet service some great exclusives to play and look forward to 360cons: all though very cheap it will start to cost you when it comes to accesories new batteries, if you like wireless youll need to purchase a new wireless dongle and yearly prices for XBL now adding them all together you will be paying just south of the price of the ps3 ( and thats only couning your first year XBL is good believe me but i deffinately think it shouldnt be anywhere near the £35 mark especally now that the PSN has caught up alot theres very littl

i have had my xbox 360 nearly 3 years now and it hasnt had a problem with it once i heard all these rumors that it scratched discs but i can say thats only if you keep moving it around ,as for the red ring of death i have discovered the problem with consoles with this problem have either had the owners forcing the disc tray closed rather than pressing the button (do not do this) or have been played for a very long time which due to the way it is biult causes the graphics card to overheat as it is directly behind the disc tray. there are other reasons for 360 failures but those are the main two reasons. in short if you take good care of your 360 it will work a treat. im not dissing the ps3 it is a brilliant console and blu ray is the icing on the cake but i prefer the 360 due to its massive online capabilities the online is definitley worth the money and personally ps3 online is overrated further more the 360 has a huge list of top games and the ps3 is only just starting to catch up. as

This console has (in my opinoin) the best online play in the world. so if you buy this console I highly recomend you connect it to the internet. But the games for this console are very expensive.
