Don't buy this fan if you have one of the new super elites (250 GB). The connection from the powerpack is different to some of the old consoles (e.g. Premium versions). This works on my 20 gb premium, but not with my super elite.

I'm not sure about this product but so far so good although it's made my xbox make a strange noise when i switch it on. I have to then switch it on and off twice until the third time when it goes back to normal. Not sure if it's actualy benifiting my xbox and having read reviews of the red ring of death from it, touch wood it doesn't happen to me.

the fact is you should avoid external fans for the 360. an external fan will never run as quickly as the internal ones and will result in the air which you're trying to get out, gets blown back into the console overheating it faster. avoid these things like the plague. But saying this, I was my 360 had a simalar cooling system to my pc cos that never gets warm.

READ FOR SOLUTION TO OVERHEATING!!!!!!!! hi.... my xbox overheated after a couple of minutes after playing, but i noticed ALOT of dust in and around it. to solve overheating just get a hairdrier and blow it into the xbox and watch the dust fly out. my xbox has worked fine ever since.......u may want the hoover on standby as well because my xbox had alot of dust............spread the word :)
