i'm looking for a cable to conect it up to an Acer Pc monitor. is this the cable that would do it or is their another one?

For Karl Gill: Have you changed the output settings under the console settings and then Audio. You need to be set to Digital Stereo. Also, on your TV, make sure that you have the Audio plugged into the correct section, if you have plugged the audio into another AV socket, you will not get the audio on the same channel. I have 12 Xbox 360's, all running these cables, 11 through 19" Monitors all working perfectly and one running on my projector displaying at 92", once again, perfect (same quality as plugging in the HDMI). The only downside I would say about these cables as apposed to the Microsoft ones, these are a little tighter fit, sometime you do struggle to get them in.

I bought this cable for my new Xbox 360 so I wouldn't have to have a TV on my desk (in uni). The cable works great! I'm using it with a HP w1907v 1440x900 monitor. It took a while fiddling with settings on the Xbox, but i found 1360x768 provided a very clear, articulate picture, although there IS some stretching going on.. just not enough to really notice. For the audio, I bought an adaptor that converts the L+R phono jacks to a stereo 3.5mm jack that plugs into an aux input on my pc speakers. A very clever product, although I will say that the AV plug that goes into the Xbox is a very tight fit in comparison to the official cable.

i bought one of these cables the picture was brilliant but there was no sound does anyone no what the problem could be ??
