they brake to easily and you do get alot for £15 mine just broke during a match of call of duty modern warfare 2 i wasnt happy as it was in good condition and i dont know wat is wrong with it, microsoft put the price down

just got 1 of these as my first one i got with my xbox snapped after taping it up a number of times. i like the new mute cube on the cable as i looks cool and easy to use. BUT the connection for this now into the controller suck suck and double sucks. due to the fact it doesn't stay in. it spins in the hole to you get bad connection and when u plug it in its takes a lot longer before you can be heard on it. also someone said why change the design of the connection? well u will tell as its well more cheaper thats why. overall sound quality is good just a shame about the connection. also the price is a little high at £15 . hope this helped :)

I've had a pretty bad history as far as headsets go. But the newly designed Offical headset I think is the best so far. I love the new connector. That old onle broke to easily and didnt always connect properly. The new one has a better connecting pin, better sound quality and a better mic. Plus the on/off switch is more durable unlike the old one. But still i recommend not turn it one and off all the time as this seemed to be the main fault with old ones that were very weak. If you done want people to hear you don't use it the headset or put the mic up away from your mouth. This will save the switch and your wallet from pooring out more money on anyother headset. I've had my new one for about 9 - 10 months and so far no problems what so ever. I would say this is the one to go with as far as headsets go. 10/10
